This guide explains how to update basic vault details, including the email address, in different stages of the vault’s lifecycle. Depending on the status of the vault, the process may vary. Please follow the appropriate steps based on whether the vault is in Created, Invited, or Active status.
Edit Vault Information (Created or Invited Status)
You can update mostly all fields when the vault is Created or Invited status with the exception of the inbound email address that is auto generated using the vault name or the primary name.
Step 1: Right-click on the vault name in your Client List.
Step 2: Select 'Edit Profile'.
Step 3: Make the changes.
Step 4: Click Save.
Attention! If you also need the inbound email address to be updated please send an email to Support.
Edit Vault Information (Active Status)
You can update mostly all fields when the vault is Active status with the exception of the email address and the inbound email address.
Step 1: Right-click on the vault name in your Client List.
Step 2: Select 'Edit Profile'.
Step 3: Make the changes.
Step 4: Click Save.
Attention! Clients can update their email address through Account Settings. Learn more here. If a client cannot access their account or reset their password, an authorized user can request the email update through Support.
Alternative Method to Edit Profile
Authorized Users can also edit vault information using the See Details option.
Steps:
- Right-click on the vault name in your Client List.
- Select 'See Details'.
- Click 'Edit' under Profile.
- Make the necessary changes.
- Click Save.
