FutureVault allows administrative users to define vaults as Individual, Household, or Organization. If you need to convert a vault to a different type, follow these simple steps:
Steps to Change Vault Type
- Select the Vault
- Navigate to the vault list in the admin portal.
- Right-click on the vault you want to modify.
Choose “Convert Vault Type”
- From the Actions menu, select Convert Vault Type.
- From the Actions menu, select Convert Vault Type.
Select the New Vault Type
- Depending on your needs, choose one of the following options:
- Household: Define the vault name. The main entity type will automatically be set as Household.
- Organization: Define both the vault name and the main entity type.
- Depending on your needs, choose one of the following options:
Save Your Changes
- Click Save to confirm the new settings.
Review the Updated Vault
- The vault name will now appear updated in the Vault List.
- The vault name will now appear updated in the Vault List.
Important Note! The inbound email address associated with the vault will not be updated after its initial creation. Contact Support if this is required.
Info! Head Office Admins can do this action if they have the feature flag enable to manage Client's vaults.
