Administrative users (Admins or Reps at any Tier) can manage Trusted Collaborators only within company folders they already have access to. This ensures secure and appropriate access control throughout the platform.
This guide shows how to update collaborator permissions, verify who has access to folders, and remove access when needed.
Verify Folder Access
Open the folder inside the Client Vault.
Use the side panel to view the list of users who have access.
Hover over a name to:
View Contact Details
Edit Permissions
Remove Permission if needed
Edit or Update Collaborator Permissions
Go to the Client Vault and open the Contacts tab.
Locate the Trusted Collaborator's name.
Right-click and choose Edit Permissions.
Update the following:
Permission Level (e.g., Basic Access)
Entity Access (if applicable)
Folders – click the arrow next to each folder to expand and select.
Expiration Date.
Click Save to apply changes.
The system will ask if a new invitation needs to be sent.
Skip - If the Collaborator already have access and is active inside the vault.
Send - If you have removed their access before, send the invitation as notification. They will be able to access with the same password than before.
Remove a Trusted Collaborator
- Go to the Contacts tab.
- Right-click the collaborator’s name.
- Select 'Remove Permissions', or Access click in 'View Contact', click in the 3 dots at the top-right of the Permission Side Panel Panel 'Remove Permissions'.
- Notify Contact: Click Send if you would like to notify the contact about the removal of the access or click 'Skip' to avoid notification.
Track Access Status
Created - the person is only a contact inside the vault, they don't have any access.
Invited - After invitation is sent, the contact’s status will show as Invited until the accept the invitation.
Active - Once they accepted the invitation and log in.
Permission Removed - Access to the vault has been revoke and the user cannot access the vault.
